|Description||A three part Auger/ Tree Bore, used to collect core samples from trees. It assembles into the shape of a "T", with the base of the "T" having the drill end, and the top of the "T" acting as the handle. This particular Auger/Tree Bore, was used by SUNY ESF Alumni Nathan (Nate) B. Golub, a surveyor for the National Parks Service in the 1950's.|
